Online Booking and Pricing

When booking services online, please note that the online cost covers our time for up to one hour. An additional hourly charge will be applied for each subsequent hour if the job exceeds one hour. It’s important to mention that the online price does not include materials unless explicitly stated during the booking process. Separate charges will be incurred for any materials used. Our hourly rate is subject to change and is determined based on our day rate at the time of service. We strive to provide fair and competitive pricing for all our services. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. For any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Annual Gas Servicing

Our annual gas service is designed to ensure your boiler’s safe and efficient functioning. However, we must note that we expect your boiler to be free from any faults before the booking. If any defects are discovered during the service, we consider them unrelated to the visit; therefore, we cannot be held responsible for them. Any additional repairs required will be charged separately. Please inform us if you know of any existing faults before booking the service.

General Repairs and Installations

Please note that it may be necessary to disturb specific components during the repair and installation procedures. It’s essential to be aware that additional charges may apply if any unrelated issues arise or if modifications are required outside of the agreed price. It’s worth mentioning that these charges will be separate from the agreed-upon work.

Boiler and Appliance Repairs

Kindly be advised that it may be necessary to displace specific components during the boiler or appliance repair process. It is crucial to note that in the event of any unrelated issues arising as a consequence, additional charges may be applicable. It is essential to highlight that these charges will be separate from the agreed-upon scope of work.

New Boiler Installations

We take full responsibility for the new boiler installations we undertake. However, it’s important to note that specific tasks may necessitate the repositioning of components, which could potentially impact the existing installation dynamics. Please understand that any issues arising from these circumstances, unrelated to the agreed-upon work, may incur additional charges. We prioritise ensuring a seamless installation process and providing the highest quality service.

Payment and Cancellation

Payment is due upon completion of the work. Kindly inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel to avoid a cancellation fee. If cancellation occurs within 12 hours of the appointment, a fee of 50% of the service/product cost will be charged.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any damage or loss arising from our services is limited to the cost of the services provided. We do not assume responsibility for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This limitation is subject to the applicable laws and regulations.

Resolving Disputes

In the event of any disagreements arising from these terms and conditions, they shall be settled in a court of law in the United Kingdom.

HomeShield Membership Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our HomeShield plan! This exciting membership offers excellent value and peace of mind so you can focus on your home.

1. Membership Eligibility and Activation

To activate your HomeShield membership, add it to your service order. You’ll get 180 credits on activation, valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Please note that these credits don’t roll over, so use them within the year.

2. Credit Redemption

You can use your HomeShield credits against any of our products or services. You can use up to 30 credits (worth £30) for each service. However, you can’t redeem credits as cash, and they can’t be used for offers outside the HomeShield membership.

3. Discounted Services

As a HomeShield member, you’ll get a 50% discount on the price of an annual boiler or fire service. You can use this discount throughout your membership period.

4. Callout Charges

If we cannot finish a task due to complications beyond our control, we will still need to apply a charge for the callout. In such cases, we will deduct 30 credits from your HomeShield account in addition to the agreed callout fee.

5. Your Agreement

By choosing our HomeShield membership, you agree to these terms and conditions. This helps us ensure a smooth experienceensure, maintaining our high professionalism and customer satisfaction standards.

Please note that we may need to move some components during the repair process. If any issues arise from this which aren’t related to the work we agreed to carry out, we’ll need to charge for this separately.

Cancellation of Membership

If you wish to cancel your HomeShield membership, please let us know at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Any unused credits will be forfeited upon cancellation.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We strive to ensure that our HomeShield membership suits your lifestyle and needs perfectly. To give you peace of mind, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee if you haven’t utilised any of our services during this period.

To be eligible for a refund of up to £59, please inform us in writing within 14 days of joining the HomeShield membership.

Non-Redeemable Credits and Vouchers

Please be aware that any credits or vouchers received from Homeglow are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances. Furthermore, all credits and vouchers will have an expiration date determined solely by Homeglow. These benefits cannot be extended or renewed beyond their designated expiry date.

Operating Hours and Emergency Services

We take pride in our prompt and efficient service. However, please note that our operations are subject to specific hours, which will be clearly communicated to you. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee immediate responses to home emergencies. Please be advised that we cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by home emergencies, regardless of whether they occur during or outside our operating hours. We recommend seeking immediate assistance from a suitable emergency service provider for any urgent needs that may arise.
